Grad School?
Honestly, this semester has been my tell it all semester. Not only is it my last semester of undergrad but I had to finally come to the realization that I will soon have actual adult responsibilities which involves picking an actual adult career. I've known, for as long as I can remember. that I just want to work with kids. So my first thought was teacher, which then moved to becoming a guidance consular. I struggled with this decision because becoming a guidance consular involves a two year addition to my education at grad school. So for months it has been my struggle, a constant ping pong table with grad school being the ball. Finally I decided that grad school is the right choice for me. Not only will becoming a guidance consular fulfill my financial needs of wanting to able to be financially independent know matter what but it gives me the ability to work with kids in a way I have always wanted to. I will be able to help children who are having family problems, social problems, school problems, etc.
My next step was to decide which school I wanted to attend for this program. I knew I wanted to stay close to home, and luckily for me Rowan happens to have a great program for a future guidance consular. I began to look further into the program and now I'm ready to apply and excited for my next chapter at Rowan.
